RECAP

Super nice weather and lots of fish. This event was a tale of catch versus not catch, with 11 anglers posting a limit of five, and 11 anglers posting one or less. The event had to be delayed due to an issue with the fence, but everyone persevered. There were a few broken rods and flags from the overhanging trees.

Dean Hills managed to win a whopping $2,149.50 in cash by placing first, AND winning the Big Bass Buy-In. Dean did this in his first-ever IKBF event after hearing about the event from fellow IKBF angler, Dan Zimmerschied while he was prefishing Lake Lowell.

We had a tie for third place. Tiebreaker goes to the angler with the biggest fish in their bag, and that honor went to Dan Zimmerschied who beat Mark Makiya by a quarter inch on their kickers. Can’t get much closer than that!
